A Successful Day

So yesterday was day one, and turned into a complete success. I got in Yoga and T25. I had contimplated doing a run but my arch in my foot has been killing me in my right foot, so I kept it to yoga and cardio. Even went and bought some tennis balls to roll my foot over to stretch it out.

So decent cal burn for yoga core day.

Awesome cal burn for a cardio day!

That means in total I burned actively 544 calories, and in total 680 calories.

Finished the complete day really strong, 976 calories burned, 80 minutes of exercise, and finally 9 of 12 hours standing. I have a feeling with how much school work makes me sit to do work, I'm always gonna be struggling with the standing goal. I totaled 9,146 steps and 4.62 miles.

I'm running a kik group for people to talk about their goals and workout aims for the month of October and that is going well. And the posts coming in from the Facebook challenge is always encouraging. Just have to remember to take it one day at a time!

My eating was on point, and so so delicious. I am so happy with my meal planning this week.

Only thing I went over on was cheese, but I'm not gonna fret too much on doing an extra serving of cheese every now and then.

Hope everyone else is having a great October!

Okay... Let's do a reboot.

So, this is I've been a horrible blogger. Haven't updated in I can't even remember how long... I apologize! Anywho, I think I left off with week one of T25 and Yoga. Well week two I did decent but for whatever reason my motivation and energy levels were lacking... And thus I began slacking. Ended up not even jumping into week 3 so since a new challenge group was starting here come tomorrow I decided to focus and get my act back on track.  I've also made the jump into being a Beachbody coach! So, any questions or even if you are wanting to join let me know and I can lead you onwards!  Even though I've been a little slack on working out, I've at least stayed pretty on for eating. Got in a weigh in and was down to 234! Woo bye bye 240's and soon here come on 220's! I did my official weigh in and measurements for this next month of challenge.
I just used my 21 day fix app to track it, it's really convenient. Also showing off my before pictures. I'm really starting to see some progress even though I took almost a month off of the hard workouts. Also I'll be following the 21 day fix meal plan so I'll be using it for that as well. Just not the workouts. What's also neat is my new scale, so glad to finally have one again, tells me my fat and water percent. Unfortunately my fat percent is a lot higher then I'd like it to be, it's at 66%. That's wayyyyy to much. 66% of my weight is 155.6 pounds. My short term goal is hopefully 6 percent by the end of 4 weeks. I'm not for sure how fast it is to lose percentage of fat so that's why I'm aiming small and doable. 4% loss is 6 pounds of fat. Overall I want to try for 10 pounds by the end of October.

Anyways, I am here to apologize for my tardiness on posting and to reassure you guys I am going to be switching that around. I'm finally getting into a steady sleep pattern so no more up until 5 am nights. To leave you off, I'm gonna show you guys some of the pictures I've taken on my runs and walks lately. The Tay is beautiful!

Rest of Week 1 of T25 and Yoga

So I haven't updated since day two, I felt leaving a couple days would at least make my post longer and a little more interesting. Anywho, Wednesday was a long day 3. Finally matriculated, got my id and then Thursday finally finished getting a bank account plus celebrating my dads birthday. Wednesday I ended up almost not doing my workout, cause I took a late exhausted nap again. It's really starting to effect my schedule. Anyways, I pushed through and did T25. I left Yoga for Thursday, and I'll double up today to catch up since it's a T25 rest day. (It's STATurday hahaha) Anyways, my sweaty face and stats for Wednesday go as sooooo:

It took forever and a half to stop sweating, I literally put a shirt on just to soak up the sweat and the shirt was dripping wet within 5 minutes of being on. That's Total Body Circuit for you. Refueled with my trusty Shakeology.

I think I put in double the banana for extra shake texture. But anyways, like I said skipped day 3 of yoga, however my yoga mat was a cheapie from Tesco that if I sweat a tiny bit I'm falling on my face, sooooo I didn't quite trust it when sweating more then a whore in church.
Thursday I found the sports store and got myself a good yoga mat, along with a couple yoga blocks to assist during yoga. I made it through Yoga day three and then Ab Intervals yesterday. That was killer on my body.

First one is Yoga, decent cal burn for mainly stretching. I'm always surprised with the cal burn from yoga. And then a very active burn from abs, and I think that came from going up down up down for the cardio recoveries in between.

My sweatie butt afterwards. Then I facetimed with my class back home while making dinner.

Turkey Burgers with grilled broccoli and mashed sweet potatoes. Then yesterday, Friday was so so so fun. Not. It was double day for T25 and I was not feeling motivated at all to do it. However, I pushed through and did it. Here's the line up going Yoga, Leg, Cardio.

Not to bad of calorie burns, plus I took some breaks in between if you couldn't tell. Active Cal total is 821 Calories in the 3 workouts burned. Total calories equaling 1037. So a really good calorie burn day. Then I started up the Sons of Anarchy last night, yes yes I know I'm late to the game but I've been delaying watching it since I know how addicting it is and I don't know how much I wanna splurge and sit and watch TV a bunch. But I figured I can treat today as a lazy Saturday of sorts sooooo Binge watching began.

Food wise I've been eating clean all week, been a little heavy with the carbs but not absurdly. Need to add more protien snacks into my eating schedule. Just haven't been eating a lot lately. Which isn't good either cause with how much I've been working out I need a decent food intake. Might go to the store later today, or even go eat out. Maybe get some noodles I don't know really.

Anyways I did say it was STATurday, so that means I did my stats this morning. And pleasantly surprised.

Today's STATS:
Chest: 37.6
L. Arm: 16.2
R. Arm: 16.2
Waist: 46.9
Hips: 46.9
L. Thigh: 30.2
R. Thigh:30

Starting STATS:
Chest: 38.4
L. Arm: 16.6
R. Arm: 16.6
Waist: 47.6
Hips: 49
L. Thigh: 30.4
R. Thigh:30

All In all after 5 days I lost 4.6 inches total. Really not bad. My biggest dip was my hips. My biggest surprise was my chest, that's really not changed in the last 6 weeks so it really surprised me that in 5 days it finally dipped below 38. I still don't have a scale so no idea on the pound change. :/ I know it's lower but I really wanna know numbers. I just gotta wait for my card to come in the mail.
I'm gonna do my two yoga's later in the day, and that will make this week have 12 workouts in it plus what ever I do tomorrow. Both my activity tracker and my challenge tracker leave Sunday as the end of the week.

Anywho, there's my update for the week! Already seeing some more progress which I'm proud about! See you later in the week for another update.

Longggg Day 2

So today felt like a really long day when in truth it was about average. But I actually got up early here, 9ish hehe, and got through some events and signed up for a doctor and began the opening of a bank account. Anywho, lots and lots of walking today. I blasted through my 30 minutes of exercise and almost 500 calories just by 2 trips out of the flat. I was impressed by that, got in a nap. There was no way I was making it through the whole day without one. Didn't oversleep either. Got up workout out, was very solid with my food today, and yesterday.
Yesterday I was spot on with equaling out my Fat, Carb and Proteins. Today I had more carbs and that had to do with my rice serving within my lunch. Plus I had two Greek yogurts instead of just one... Haha but overall I was way under calorie wise, especially after the workouts. I drank 3.5 liters of water. I'm trying to average as 3-4 a day, to stay hydrated.

But this is gonna cause visits to and for Tesco almost every 2-3 days and so I'm gonna try and look into a filter to put on the spout or even just a container with a filter. Either or will do. While the water is safe to drink, over the five weeks I was here anytime I drank it it would upset my stomach somewhat. Not in a major way but in enough of a way I could tell and would be annoyed.

Just with trips to Tesco and my classes I'll keep in plenty shape. Everything to my classes is up hill, and coming back from the grocery store I'm carrying bags as weights haha.

Anyways like I said, good workouts. Yoga was stretching and boy do I feel it.

Pretty good calorie burn for all of the slow deep movements we were doing. Then I did Speed 1.0 and don't know if I liked it more from yesterday or not. It wasn't pure cardio which was nice but it was still a killer workout.

Pretty close to yesterdays burn even with all of the slowdowns included. I'm really enjoying T25 cause it's short paced and intense. It goes through a lot of different workouts in 30 second intervals and you don't get wrapped up in doing repeats a lot of the time. It does really keep your focus that way.

I also picked up a firming lotion, I have noticed even with my weight loss I haven't really been losing the inches as much. And that will come in time I know, but I was at an extremely heavy weight and I am losing it at a decent pace. So I know the cream will help my skin adjust better and maybe allow my inches loss to show better as well. Can't hurt anyways.

I also made up some turkey burger patties, froze the rest and cooked one for myself tonight. Ate it will a couple cups of spinach and a fresh cut tomato.

I'm just finishing off my shakeology and I'm so glad to be drinking it again. Taking those two weeks off sucked.

Chocolate, with 2 cups almond milk, and frozen banana.

I'm off to bed here soon, but wanted to pump out another update since I had the time and want to really keep up on it.

Focus T25 and Yoga Day 1

Well I've still yet to adjust to the time change. Doesn't help nothing is yet motivating me to wake up early, as classes don't start till next week. And since I've taken a break from working out I've experienced restless nights. But after today that should start to turn around, which is good. :D   Anyways, today like I said, still adjusting to the time change so I may have stayed up until 5 am and thus slept in till 1:30/2pm.... May have.... Okay okay, I did do that. But I got up, put on workout clothes, ate a yogurt, (Greek yogurt over here is sooooo much yummier, just saying) and did my starting images for Yoga.. Ready to see this funny stuff? Haha

So, as you can see, solid on some moves... Not so solid on others. I contemplated not even doing the rockstar photo, as I really can't do the move at all so that in itself from nothing to something at the end would show improvement. Also I just noticed that photo is in the wrong spot. Eh, I may or may not fix that. Probably not.

So after my photo session I actually did my yoga workout. Day 1 Core. I worked up quite a sweat and it surprised me in a good way.

Felt really good and was a great warm up going into Focus T25. Which kicked my booty. I also modified some just so I wasn't stomping around like an elephant. I live on the 3rd floor, and don't want to disrupt the people below. I think Cardio type days are the main days I have to worry about that and I may look into a gym membership. But having to haul my IPad to the gym every time I want to do a Beachbody workout doesn't have a huge appeal to me.

T25 left me looking like so....

The extra 3 minutes are the cool down, but even so, 28 minutes and burning that many calories is insane. I felt proud of myself.
Overall a great Monday! I refueled after the workouts with some Shakeology.

Using my new blender, it's a single shake sized container I fill, seal flip and blend. Was only 15 bucks once converted so not a bad investement for the year. I'm probably gonna splurge and eat my last Chinese meal for the night before digging into my homemade meals. As I have this frozen ready for use. But from here on out I'm actually gonna be using Lose It again, and tracking my cal intake but I'm still referencing the 21 day fix with my meal building. Eating the Chinese won't even send me over either. And I get hungry later, which I doubt I'll just eat my salad so I'm not going over on carbs.

Well that's a wrap for day one at being back at it. Check in more often now that I'll have more time to do more consistent updates.

Meal Prepping

So my run to the store was a success. Got all my meal prepping done for the week. Have one salad and 5 rice and veggie bowls with chicken made up. The Turkey burger I'll make some burgers or ground it up for some dinners later on through the week. I got myself a mini blended. Pretty cheap too, only 12.5 pounds. So I can have more then just shakeology and almond milk for my smoothies. Got my spices and fresh vanilla extract too. The vanilla extract was super cheap, and here they don't even sell imitation you actually can only buy real fresh extract. But really it's the price of our imitation. I'm in love I think. :D Anyways, I will be doing some before yoga poses as well tomorrow before starting off, to see how my flexibility improves over the next 3 weeks and the 7 after that as well. Woot woot, excitement! I just wanted to do another quick post and update on getting my meal prepping done so eating will be on point this week!

Moved in and Finished Week 3

Dun Dun Dunnnnn.... So here are my after pictures, which will turn into my before pictures for T25. I'm also going to be starting up a yoga retreat for the first 3 weeks of T25 and we're beginning the 60 day Fitness Challenge at the same time. The Fitness Challenge is just a group accountability and I'm doing the T25 for. But by logging 3 workouts a week and posting 5 pictures of Shakeology, we can win some money from a pot of 1-3 million. So even if it's only 20 bucks or 10 or 50, it's something more then I have now and I didn't have to add any money myself into it. Plus the I'm doing the shakes and the workout already, why not win some money for it.

Anyway's I won't describe my week in detail, just post some photos on it. Overall I wasn't amazingly good, I kept it under control though. I just didn't have many options for food at home, couldn't really meal prep since I was leaving so soon and then I went down to my friends for a few days before take off and there was really only options of carbs and processed food. Not the best for weight loss. I didn't have the space to do my workouts either, so I did run twice the 3 days I was there. And the run outside was amazing! I did two miles, averaging a 13'17" pace, but my first mile was 12'02" :D. That compared to one of my first runs of the summer back in 5/26, with an average pace of 16'12" with mile one being 15'47" and two being 16'13". Yah progress.

So here's a sweaty selfie and the workout chart from a workout on the 26. Okay here's something else I'm super super proud of, in August I logged a total of 42 workouts! While some where short ones or a couple just during cleaning duty while working, they were still workouts. June and July each I did 22 workouts, so while that's 2 less overall I basically equaled the working out amount. Also I hit my calorie goal every day in August and did a streak of 36 days of hitting it!

Unfortunately when I got to Scotland on the 31 that night I must of ate something funky or bad, cause I developed a stomach ache over that night and into the 1st. It was bad. So I broke my streak on the first :( and took the second to recoup as well and wayyy overslept yesterday so I haven't hit my goal since I've been here, but I've been focusing on other things and I'll pick up on Tomorrow on the calorie hitting! I plan to get all of October and the Rest of this month for my new streak, so excited to restart that.

I bout my new yoga mat... It's pink and very cheap, only kind they had but it will do for my yoga retreat. I'm excited to start up T25 and hopefully since I'm not working 40 hrs a week, I can update a lot more regularly!

Oh, before I forget I lost another 7lbs and 3.8 inches overall. I feel I may have lost a little more inches but was bloated from being sick and traveling. But I still have a loss!

So through 2 rounds I've lost 14lbs and 8.3 inches! Not to shabby of results! Now onto T25, this program has you do inches weekly and hopefully I'll get my new scale by the end of the week as well. But I may not have a new weight for the first week or so. Now I'm off to Tesco to get some food for meal prepping!
